At Little Duckling Early Learning Schools, our mission is to provide children and families with high-quality care and education experiences that promote growth, curiosity, and a love for learning. We are dedicated to creating a nurturing and supportive environment where every child feels valued, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential. Through dynamic curriculum and compassionate care, we strive to build bridges for each child in our care that will advance future leaders!

Our vision at Little Duckling Early Learning Schools is to be the foremost leader in early childhood education, setting the standard for excellence and innovation in nurturing young minds. We aim to create a community where children, families, and educators collaborate to inspire a lifelong love for learning and provide a solid foundation for future success. Through our dedication to continuous improvement and forward-thinking practices, we envision a world where every child has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.

Our History

Little Duckling was founded in 1988 by Joyce Sullivan as a home daycare, and as the demand for her services grew, it expanded to the church and registered as a daycare ministry under the umbrella of Charity Christian Center (New Direction Church). Little Duckling provides exceptionally high-quality childcare and early childhood education and Joyce’s daughter, Cindy Sullivan-Bridges serves as the Executive Director. For over 30 years, Little Duckling has partnered with families, staff, and the community we serve to provide a place of nurture, love, and learning built on Christian morals and values.

Our Leadership

Our leadership is second to none! Collectively we hold over 60 years of working with children and families within the communities we serve. At Little Duckling, we are committed to creating an atmosphere where children, families, and staff feel a sense of community and where they can flourish!

Our Staff

Our loving staff is committed to making a difference in the lives of the children and families we partner with. Part of that commitment is maintaining the standard state-mandated certifications which include extensive Comprehensive Background checks through the FBI, negative drug test results, negative TB test results, CPR/AED, First Aid, Universal Precautions, and Safe Sleep. We take it a step further by maintaining an additional 30 hours of continuing education in the area of Early Childhood Development. Our Center Directors and all of our Lead Teachers have a CDA(Child Development Association) Certificate, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree. Our Executive Director, Cindy Bridges holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Development Administration and also maintains a minimum of 30 hours of professional development training each year.

School Information

Nutritious Meals

Ensuring that our students are served nutritious meals and snacks is very important to us. Little Duckling makes sure that every bite counts by creating menus that are pleasing to the eye and the palate. Little Duckling participates in the federal Child and Adult Food Program to ensure that each child is served the necessary food components that boost energy and promotes healthy eating.

Little Duckling provides high quality care, learning and fun through summer months for ages Kindergarten through 12 year olds. Students are transported safely to off campus fun & learning sites on our Multi-Functional School Bus!
